DIY Flash Cards for Kids
We LOVE flash cards in our house, and we make them all the time. Flash cards are a fantastic educational tool that can make learning fun and engaging for children.
By creating DIY flash cards, teachers and parents can customize the content to suit each child’s learning needs and interests.
Action Flash Cards
We call them Action Flash Cards because verbs + we make them in the middle of the action so they get thrown around the DIY work space like ninja stars as we are doing whatever is on the flash card. When it’s time to hammer, I make the card really quick and point at the card and ask him to please “hammer” the nail. “See, you’re hammering” as I write/point to the next. Make jokes like, “Now we’re verbin’ together, oh yeah, good job…” “…you sure hammered in that nail. Good job!”
